What is Taekwondo?

Taekwondo is a Martial Art for all ages. The Art of Kicking and Punching is over 2000 years old and originated in Korea. This fighting system was developed for the King’s armies by a Buddhist monk to train warriors to defend the country from invaders.

Modern day Taekwondo consists of many self-defense techniques, kicking and pattern combinations to help develop coordination and discipline in the Martial Artist. Many of these techniques have not changed and are taught in most World Taekwondo Federation (W.T.F.)schools worldwide.

BTA, LLC is a member of the World Taekwondo Federation W.T.F.,  United States Chang Moo Kwan Taekwondo Union and a Greenquist Academy Taekwondo Association member.
